THE WEEKEND WORSHIPPERS!
John 4:23
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
WHAT IS A TRUE WORSHIPPER?
Yeshua had a conversation with a woman at the well. Once she understood that He was from GOD, she wanted to know where she needed to go in order to worship GOD.
John 4:20
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
This passage revealed a hidden Truth; the False Worshippers always seek for a ‘Place’ to worship. It is the first sign of a False Worshipper, they are always looking for some sacred sites and a spiritual leader in order for them to worship The Father.
This woman was a Samaritan, a Gentile who did not know who the True GOD was. She was religious but she had no relationship with The Father.
Christians are exactly the same as this Samaritan woman.
They promote events at places of worship, for people (who do not know THE LORD GOD) to come and congregate at The Temples Of The False Worshippers.
John 4:21-22
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Yeshua explained to the woman that it is not about the location of where you worship, it is about knowing who you are worshipping!
The entire Christian religion has put its emphasis on ‘places of worship’, instead of knowing who they are worshipping.
“Come to our church and worship with us, to experience a move of GOD.”
This is the message that all the Christian churches are advertising!
They are inviting people to go completely against Yeshua’s teaching in John Chapter Four.
THE TRUE WORSHIPPER:
John 4:23-24
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
What Is Worship?
The original meaning of “worship” comes from the Old English weorþscipe, meaning “worthiness” or “worth-ship,” highlighting the act of giving worth, value, or honour to something. Originally, this term referred to recognising the value of anyone or anything worthy of respect, such as a king or a person of high standing.
There is no place in the Bible that describes worship as singing and dancing to gospel/Christian music.
Worship or properly phrased ‘worth-ship’, is to give The King what you believe He is worth to you.
Worship was first demonstrated in the Bible when Cain and Abel came to give their offerings to THE LORD GOD.
Cain offered vegetables which cost him nothing; there was no sacrifice to him personally. Cain was the first “False Worshipper”.
Abel offered the life of a lamb; it was a worthy sacrifice because it involved the ‘Giving Of Life’. Abel represented the ‘True Worshipper’.
THE LORD GOD is worthy of the greatest offering; The Giving Of Your Life (not singing and dancing at the weekend).
Yeshua described Worship as ‘Service to GOD’ when He was confronted by the Devil. Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
The best definition of worship is; The offering of your Life to THE LORD GOD in serving Him sacrificially, faithfully and with complete obedience, this is True Worship!
IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH:
1) In spirit:
Yeshua was teaching this Samaritan woman to not look for any special location to worship The Father. If you worship The Father in your spirit, you are not restricted to any location or any particular day of the week. The True Worshipper worships The Father everywhere and everyday of the week!
GOD is a Spirit. He is not confined to a building or a day in the week; it is the same for the True Worshipper!
The False Worshippers worship in a building for one or two days a week, at a specific time with other False Worshippers.
This is not what The Father was seeking.
2) In Truth:
Yeshua was teaching the Samaritan woman that her seeking a place of worship and not knowing The Father, was not worshipping in Truth.
Every single Christian on the planet is following in the same way as the Samaritan woman, they are not worshipping The Father in Truth.
Understand ‘The Way of Truth’ is doing things in His way, not in men’s way. “Be ye reconciled to GOD”. (2 Corinthians 5:18-20)
Spirits are not restricted to time or a place, only carnal people are; you are False Worshippers!
You Christians go to seek a “Place Of Worship” at the weekend only.
You focus on singing, dancing and preaching as your acts of worship, not the sacrificial giving of your lives to GOD in service, every single day of the week.
You go to work from Monday to Friday for money (Mammon), and give THE LORD GOD a measly offering at the tail end of the week.
You are offering to GOD that which costs you nothing, as Cain did. Your offering has not been respected as Cain’s was not.
Genesis 4:4-5
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
